The 4 Bridges Arts Festival Returns to the First Horizon Pavilion

Chattanooga Gears Up for the Triumphant Reappearance of Esteemed Art Festival

The grand city of Chattanooga is ready to welcome back one of its highly esteemed events, the 24th annual 4 Bridges Arts Festival, opening its gates to art enthusiasts across the globe from April 19 to 21. The Association for Visual Arts is delighted to announce the return of the festival at the First Horizon Pavilion, located in downtown Chattanooga’s scenic southside.

The festival has maintained its charm and prestige as one of the nation’s top art festivals, being recognized multiple times by Sunshine Artist magazine. It owes its continuous success to the spirited Chattanooga community, whose consistent support and admiration for the independent artists have solidified the event’s standing in the art world.

A Gathering of Talents

A whopping 140 artists will showcase their captivating works this year, with participants journeying from 27 states across the nation, including over a dozen innovative artists from Chattanooga itself. The artists will present a plethora of art mediums, with distinctive collections spanning from painting, ceramics, textiles, jewelry, wood, glass, to even photography. With such a diverse array of creations all under one roof, the 4 Bridges Arts Festival offers an unparalleled shopping experience, whether you’re on the lookout for a unique piece to adorn your home or a thoughtful present for a friend.

Performances Galore

In addition to gazing at the aesthetic marvels, attendees can enjoy live musical performances throughout the weekend from an impressive lineup of musicians. Notable names including Luke Simmons, Amber Fults, Rick Rushing III, the Chattanooga Girls Choir, and Maria Jordania are slated to grace the stage.

The festival also offers a wide spectrum of activities tailored specifically for children. They can look forward to participating in hands-on painting activities throughout the festival, led by the SPLASH Youth Arts Workshop.

Next Generation of Artists

Local artist, author, and performing artist, Andrea Zoppo is all set to run the show as this year’s children’s artist-in-residence. She, along with her troupe of performers, will present her riveting show, “Weather the Weather,” an inventive exploration of how weather influences us through playful and slightly surreal performances that take cues from old-fashioned Cirque-style clown performances. As a bonus, Andrea Zoppo will also provide face painting services on both days of the festival.

Foodies Rejoice!

Visitors can indulge in a variety of cuisines courtesy of an array of food trucks that will station at the festival grounds. Offering delicious coffee, savory lunches, and sumptuous snacks, these food trucks will provide attendees a complete and satisfying festival experience.

Preview Party for Art Patrons

Ahead of the main event, a Preview Party, exclusive for invited sponsors, patrons, and their guests, will be held on April 19. Attendees willing to purchase a $125 ticket can also partake in the special preview party, the proceeds of which will support festival operations and AVA’s year-round initiatives aimed at supporting Chattanooga’s artists. This party provides an early opportunity to those eager to shop for unique artistry amidst a lively ambiance filled with catered food and specially curated drinks.

Glass Art Adorns Poster

This year’s festival will be represented by a noteworthy platter titled “Tequila Sunrise,” created by glass artist Terri Foster from Marietta, GA. The artwork, which uses tiny rods of red and blue glass fused to resemble a woven basket, can be seen on this year’s official poster.
