Her commitment to community service was evident in her long tenure in law enforcement, where she served with both the East Ridge and Chattanooga Police Departments before transitioning to an administrative assistant role in the Emergency Department at CHI Memorial Hospital.

Following the service, Cammie will be laid to rest in Sequatchie Valley Memorial Gardens in Jasper, Tennessee.
