Chattanooga

The fifth annual Chattanooga Burger Week wrapped up on April 27, 2025, with over 20,000 burgers served by forty participating restaurants. The popular culinary event, held from April 21 to 27, invited local eateries to showcase their best burgers, priced at just $8 each.

This year, the burgers on offer ranged from classic favorites to inventive creations. The event drew significant interest, with over 7,000 residents downloading the official Burger Week app. App users engaged actively, checking in at participating locations more than 10,000 times to accumulate points towards various prizes.

Winners of Chattanooga Burger Week

The culmination of Chattanooga Burger Week saw the announcement of three winners based on public voting:

  • Best Classic Burger: Hoppy’s North River Corner Market for their Bacon Cheese Burger
  • Most Creative Toppings: Jack Brown’s Beer & Burger Joint for their “Don’t Call My Name, Alejandro” Burger
  • Best Burger Overall: Oddstory Brewing Co. Central for their Elote Smash Burger

This year, participants had a unique opportunity to support the local community by donating canned goods to the Chattanooga Area Food Bank at participating restaurants. Each donation earned patrons bonus points within the app, promoting both culinary enjoyment and community assistance.

Engagement and Rewards

The excitement extended beyond just enjoying burgers. The event’s Grand Prize featured $500 in restaurant gift cards, Day Passes to Common House, and burger-themed merchandise from the Tennessee Beef Industry Council. Throughout the week, surprise giveaways occurred, with the Burger Bud initiative distributing gift cards and additional burger swag. Winners were also randomly selected from app users and through social media giveaways, enhancing engagement with the community.
