Throughout her life, she dedicated more than 30 years to serving her community, initially working at Howard Johnson and later as a cherished private housekeeper. Known for her warm smile and kind heart, she became a familiar face around the neighborhood, and her presence will be sorely missed by many.

Betty was an active member of the Thorns and Crowns Ministry, where she found joy in her faith and fellowship with others. She leaves behind her two loving daughters, Jackie (Stanley) Hubbard and Linda (Greg) Arnold; two sons, Michael (Verdell) Stewart and Roy (Rhonda) Richardson; and a large, loving family that includes 16 grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren. Also mourning her loss are her brothers, Walter (Osceola) Few, Jr. and Alphonso Varnell Few, along with a host of relatives and friends.

The community is invited to come together for a final goodbye at a public viewing on Saturday, January 25, from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m., followed by funeral services at the chapel of the funeral home.
