A Life Rooted in Faith and Community

Born in Gulfport but raised in Chattanooga from a young age, Eddie accepted Christ early on, shaping his strong spiritual foundation. He grew up attending both Prospect Missionary Baptist Church and Union Grove Baptist Church, where he formed lifelong friendships and grew his faith.

His friends often brought him fresh catches, and he took joy in cleaning and cooking them to perfection. His cooking was often the highlight of family gatherings.

Not only was Eddie passionate about food, but he also had a green thumb. He took pride in landscaping and maintaining beautiful yards and flower beds, often using his skills to beautify his friends’ homes too. His personal touch made every garden bloom and brought smiles to those he loved.
