Tourism in Chattanooga has proven to be financially advantageous, generating over $70 million in local tax revenue—equivalent to an estimated $1,205 in savings for each household within Hamilton County. Last year, the city successfully hosted 253 events, drawing over 299,000 attendees and creating an economic impact of approximately $183.9 million, solidifying its position as a vital events destination.

The local travel industry is not only thriving but is also receiving notable national media recognition, alongside achieving a record-setting 9.1 million visits to its promotional website—a 12% increase from the previous year.
