Multiple roofing systems were used in order to create a custom cover that would fit snugly on the historical dome. These systems included metal roofing, single-ply membrane roofing, and modified bitumen roofing.

One of the most daunting tasks for the roofers was logistics–getting to the high building in the center of town. But with careful planning, they were able to install a new 20000 sqft roofing system without damaging the structure’s historical integrity. The project took 1 year to complete, and the building has been protected from inclement weather ever since

The new roof looks great and has been holding up well against the Chattanooga weather.
