Mark Anthony Webb, aged 72, passed away on February 19, 2023, in Lawrenceville, GA. Known and loved by many in the community, Webb leaves behind a legacy of love and commitment to both his family and profession.
Born on June 5, 1950, in Chattanooga, TN, Webb is preceded in death by his parents, Dennis and Jewell Webb, along with his sister, Brenda Asher, and brother, Neil Webb. He is survived by his wife of 36 years, Kay Kincer Webb, who resides in Lawrenceville, GA, along with their children: Lori Weikle from Chattanooga, TN; Jon (Angie) Chandler from Valley Center, CA; Tony (Jan) Webb from Jefferson, GA; Tom (Nikki) Harmon from Lawrenceville, GA; and Tracy (Rob) Hambrecht from Orlando, FL. He also leaves behind a large extended family, including 14 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren, as well as his brother Grant (Jennifer) Webb from Jasper, TN, and brother-in-law Jim Asher and sister-in-law Pam Webb, both from Jasper, TN.
Mark Webb was a proud graduate of Marion County High School in Jasper, TN, class of 1968. He enjoyed a fruitful career as a retired Estimator from Pinkerton and Laws, gaining the respect and admiration of his colleagues. Not only was he devoted to his family, but he was also an active member of 12-Stone Church at the Buford/Hamilton Mill Campus in GA.
A fervent supporter of the University of Tennessee and NASCAR, Webb often shared stories about his passions, showcasing his deep connection and pride for both his community and the teams he followed.
A Celebration of Life Service for Mark Anthony Webb will be held on March 11, 2023, at 11:00 a.m. at 12Stone Church, located at 2675 Old Winder Highway, Braselton, GA 30517. A reception will follow the service and will continue until 2:00 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to 12Stone Church, the American Diabetes Association, the American Heart Association, or The National Kidney Foundation.
