Weller was a cherished figure in the Hamilton County School System for over three decades, with 18 years dedicated specifically to Apison Elementary.

Born on August 27, 1967, in Hamilton County, Weller was a lifelong resident. He obtained a bachelor’s degree in Exercise and Sport Science from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga and furthered his education with a master’s degree in administration and supervision from Trevecca Nazarene University. Throughout his 31-year career, Weller became known for his enthusiasm, dedication, and the unique ability to engage with every child in his care.

At Apison Elementary, Weller was more than just a teacher; he was an integral part of students’ joyful experiences during their school years. Known for creating a lively and supportive atmosphere in the gym, he often played music from the 80s and 90s, making physical education classes memorable for students.
