A fatal car accident on Roanoke Avenue earlier this month has caused the unfortunate death of a 22-year-old man, local authorities confirmed. The man, who has remained unnamed, was one of six occupants involved in a fiery collision on the 1300 block of Roanoke Avenue.
In the late hours of April 1, 2024, a Dodge Charger reportedly veered off its lane, striking a utility pole head-on. Upon arrival, first responders found the car engulfed in flames. Members from the community had already extracted five people from the burning vehicle, with one other passenger saved by a responding officer on the scene.
